Passing It On
July 10, 2017Success and failure of one generation is constantly being passed to the next generation by the choices we are making today. - Kelvin
Most times than often, a few of us wonder how miserable our life is? We look at our friends and colleagues and ask ourselves what makes them better than we are? Actually, why shouldn't they be better? They deserve it all; The fancy cars, the company, the beautiful wife and kids, the Marriage and every other things. Where did you receive the baton? Did you make it to your own race or are you just carrying-on your forefathers race.
Recently, I have always been enthralled by the zeal and determination shown by athlete to compete in a relay race. I watch in awe and admiration as they exchange baton from one person to the other. This admiration made me discover one of the most important secret I will be sharing. Life is indeed a race, a competition; believe, me you are either in to win it or you are losIng it - as the second place is most often never remembered.
Life is a competition against self to do even better in the fulfillment of your God destined purpose.

You are where you in your race to purpose because of where you received the baton from your parents. The baton of success or failure is being passed down from one generation to the other by fathers to their children and the children are expected to do the same. Success or failure didn't start from one generation and most often than not enters to other generation(s).
You can choose what you pass on to the next generation of yours.....choose wisely
Belief me, we inherit more than just gene from our parents. They passed their batons down to us and if you someone like me you know they didn't make it to the finishing line of their own race. Most of them didn't even start their own race. Yet they have exchanged batons with us to compete in a race we are far from present. We are borne with disadvantage to naturally compete in the race of life to purpose.
You might have to run your parents' and your own race but make sure you finish your race before your exchange the baton with your unborn children to give them an advantage you never had.
Information they say brings transformation but not everyone that hears is transformed. Knowledge is the key thing to succeed in anything not feeling or yelling
God is a god of purpose and am most intrigued about the creation story. God made everything Adam needed. He even made a home separated from every other things (Eden). He planned his gifting and his specialty in keeping the garden. God made everything then made Adam. Just like God, a loving father is to ensure that he makes provision to ensure that his progeny can successfully compete globally in this world and fulfill their purpose. Remember, "He who cannot take care of his relatives especially those of his immediate family has denied the faith".
Pass on the batons of your success and not your misery reduce the pain we put these young ones through by not having them if you cannot care for them. Give them a chance to fulfill destiny. You cannot pass the baton just because you are old enough. Are you prepared enough? Are you knowledgeable enough? Do you know what, why and who a father or a mother is?
Remember, when purpose is not known abuse is inevitable. Don't abuse the future of our next generation.
May God help us all!
Shalom!!!
